The Procurement Assistant will support Category Managers and the Head of Procurement in the delivery of the departmental objectives, to meet category objectives for cost reduction, management of supply chain and supply chain projects and providing a first-class service to all Customers and business stakeholders.
We currently have 2x Fixed Term Contracts available for this role.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Support to home-based colleagues with ordering
- Manage the day-to-day enquiries in the inbox
- Liaise with suppliers and manage any queries
- Ensure to report any issues/escalations to Category Managers

You will have administration experience, preferably in the healthcare sector. You will be ambitious and enthusiastic, you will be able to plan and prioritise your time effectively, to work both reactively and strategically according to business needs, reacting quickly to the demands of the business.
With strong communication and customer service skills, you will be able to engage and influence across a range of internal and external stakeholders.
