In this energetic role, you will operate advanced laser cutting equipment to precisely shape sheet metal and other materials. Responsibilities

Set up, calibrate, and operate laser cutting machines to produce accurate cuts according to detailed specifications
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine proper machine settings
Perform routine maintenance on laser equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
Use hand tools and tooling to assist with material handling, adjustments, or finishing tasks as needed
Conduct quality checks on finished parts, ensuring they meet dimensional and aesthetic standards
Assist with fabrication processes such as grinding or assembly when required
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures

Requirements

Proven experience operating laser cutting or similar fabrication machinery is highly preferred
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly
Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication techniques including cutting, grinding, and assembly
Proficiency in using hand tools and tooling for material handling and finishing tasks
Basic math skills for measuring materials and calculating dimensions accurately
Knowledge of safety standards related to laser operation and metal fabrication environments
Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications effectively
