Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Floor and Wall Tiler to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing high-quality tiles on floors and walls, transforming spaces with precision and craftsmanship. Your expertise will help create beautiful, durable surfaces that meet project specifications and client expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential to commercial, in a fast-paced environment that values quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives or mortar to ensure proper tile adhesion.
Measure and cut tiles accurately using hand tools and power tools to fit specific spaces and patterns.
Install tiles on floors, walls, backsplashes, and other surfaces following schematics and design plans.
Grout, seal, and finish tiled surfaces to achieve a polished look while ensuring durability.
Use carpentry skills to modify or prepare framing or backing structures as needed for tile installation.
Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to health and safety protocols during all phases of tiling work.
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure timely completion of projects according to specifications.

Requirements

Proven construction experience with a focus on tiling or related trades.
Proficiency in using hand tools such as trowels, chisels, levels, and measuring tapes.
Experience with power tools including drills, saws, and tile cutters.
Knowledge of schematics, blueprints, or technical drawings for accurate installation.
Familiarity with construction painting techniques is a plus for finishing touches.
Ability to interpret project plans and adapt work accordingly while maintaining high standards of quality.
Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and physical stamina for demanding tasks.
