Full job description

Mobile Combustion Engineer

Job Summary

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance in line with company and contract procedures.
Provide engineering support and undertake repairs within competency across client sites as required.
Act as the main engineering contact, maintaining effective communication with clients and management on operational status and ongoing issues.
Support the delivery of PPM, ensuring building services and plant operate safely, efficiently, and within design parameters.
Deliver high standards of technical service, asset management, and customer service.
Supervise contractors to ensure safe working practices, compliance, and completion of all required health and safety documentation.
Maintain plant rooms to a high standard, ensuring good housekeeping and all required safety signage and information are in place.
Build positive working relationships with colleagues, clients, and contractors.
· Ensure compliance with company, client, and statutory health and safety requirements.
Maintain a professional image and continue developing technical skills through ongoing training and professional development.

· Sub-contractor representative

· Local Facilities Manager

Key Responsibilities:

finding to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate records and produce comprehensive maintenance and compliance reports.
Hold and apply Gas Safety qualifications in accordance with current regulations.
Close out completed reactive maintenance works in line with site procedures and escalate outstanding issues to the Contract Support team.
Conduct proactive inspections and complete all necessary remedial repairs to maintain asset performance.
Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests issued by the Helpdesk, ensuring all client KPIs and service level agreements (SLAs) are achieved.
Submit work reports, timesheets, and all required documentation to office support within agreed timescales.
Diagnose and repair breakdowns across a range of building services as required.
Complete detailed work reports following each maintenance task, ensuring the CAFM system is updated with accurate asset history, equipment condition, and details of replaced components.
Coordinate and schedule in-house engineers to deliver both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works, monitoring progress to ensure timely completion.

Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
