The Grange School is seeking an enthusiastic HLTA to join our committed and supportive team. We are looking for a skilled practitioner who is passionate about helping pupils thrive, delivering high-quality learning experiences, and supporting our mission of ensuring every child, every lesson, every day achieves their full potential.

Key responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality learning activities and lessons across the school, including whole-class teaching during teacher absence or PPA cover.
Work collaboratively with teachers to plan, prepare and adapt learning activities that meet the needs of all pupils.
Support pupils to achieve their full potential by promoting high expectations, engagement and positive outcomes.
Provide targeted interventions and additional support for individuals and groups of pupils, including those with SEND and disadvantaged learners.
Assess, monitor and record pupil progress, providing timely feedback to teachers and contributing to pupil progress discussions.

Pay range:

SCP 8 - 12 - £23,592.34 - £25,152.62
FTE: £26,824.00 - £28,598.00
37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
Permanent

Qualifications and Skills:

Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Recent experience of working with primary-aged children in an educational setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently and use initiative.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
