Electrical Supervisor
Are you an experienced electrical compliance professional with a strong understanding of safety, contractor management and regulatory requirements? Do you enjoy solving problems, improving performance and ensuring services are delivered safely and compliantly?
We're looking for someone who can combine technical knowledge with strong organisational and communication skills to support the delivery of electrical compliance services across Cornwall Housing's homes and communities.
About the role
You'll support the delivery of Cornwall Housing's electrical compliance services, ensuring that statutory servicing, testing and maintenance activities are delivered safely, on time and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
In this role you will:
- Support the delivery of electrical compliance programmes and contracts
- Monitor contractor performance and quality standards
- Investigate compliance issues and support resolution
- Review compliance data, certification and reports
- Carry out inspections, audits and quality checks
- Support residents with enquiries, complaints and complex cases
- Work with contractors and stakeholders to improve performance
- Contribute to compliance assurance and service improvement
- Escalate risks and regulatory concerns where required
- Support management reporting and operational decision-making

About you
To be successful, you'll have:
- Relevant electrical or compliance-related qualification and/or membership of a relevant professional body
- Experience delivering electrical or property compliance services at a supervisory level
- Strong knowledge of electrical compliance requirements and regulations
- Experience working with contractors and managing performance
- Experience investigating issues and identifying solutions
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience producing reports and using compliance-related data
- Strong communication and stakeholder skills
- Experience within social housing, property compliance or asset management would be highly advantageous

Our offer to you
Salary: £45, 312 per year
Working Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Base: Hybrid working - working from office, home, site and in the community as needed. Your base will be our main office in Chy Trevail, Bodmin, PL31 2FR. This role requires you to typically work from the office at least 2 days per week, sometimes including attendance at short notice.
