Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort for our guests. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality and attention to detail to contribute to a welcoming environment.

Duties

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
Ensure all public areas and corridors are tidy and well-maintained
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Maintain cleanliness of storage areas and linen rooms
Assist with laundry duties as required
Adhere to hotel policies regarding guest privacy and confidentiality

Requirements

Previous hotel or janitorial experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
Knowledge of hospitality standards and procedures is advantageous
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if needed
Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour
Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift
