Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista Cashier to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop barista skills in a fast-paced environment, ensuring customers enjoy a welcoming experience. The position is paid and suitable for individuals who are passionate about coffee, food safety, and providing outstanding service.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, adhering to company standards.
Operate the cash register accurately, handling transactions efficiently and providing correct change.
Greet customers warmly, taking orders with attention to detail and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area, including cleaning equipment and utensils regularly.
Follow food safety guidelines at all times during food preparation and service.
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
Assist with basic food preparation tasks when required, such as assembling sandwiches or snacks.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without compromising quality.

Experience

Previous barista experience is preferred and additional training will be provided for the right candidate.
Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is desirable.
Basic maths skills are necessary for handling cash transactions accurately.
Strong time management skills are essential to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods. This role requires a positive attitude, excellent organisational skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service in a welcoming environment.

Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
