Sausage Production Lead

The Company

The Role

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Sausage Production Lead to join our busy butchery team. Working in a fast-paced production environment, you will play an important role in producing high-quality sausage products while maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and are looking to build a career within the food production industry.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a lead for our sausage production room
Operating production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
Preparing ingredients and assisting with sausage manufacturing processes.
Weighing, mixing, filling, linking, and packing sausage products.
Monitoring product quality and reporting any issues to the Production Manager.
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the production area.
Following all food safety, health and safety, and company procedures.
Assisting with stock handling and movement where required.
Working collaboratively as part of a production team to meet daily targets.

Requirements

Previous experience in food production, meat processing, or manufacturing.
Knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP procedures.
Experience operating production machinery.
Good attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong work ethic and reliability.
Ability to follow instructions and adhere to food safety procedures.
Good communication skills.
Flexibility to work overtime when required.
