Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Import Sales Coordinator to join our team. This role involves managing the import sales process, coordinating logistics, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in shipping and sales.

Responsibilities

Coordinate import sales activities, ensuring timely delivery and fulfilment of client orders.
Utilise transportation management systems.
Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and oversee the movement of goods through various stages of the supply chain.
Negotiate terms with clients and suppliers to optimise profit margins while maintaining strong business relationships.
Generate leads through targeted outreach and utilise lead generation tools to expand client base.
Collaborate with internal teams on logistics planning, inventory management, and sales strategies.
Prepare reports on sales performance, supply chain efficiency, and customer feedback for management review.

Requirements

Experience in data entry accuracy and maintaining detailed records within complex systems.
Understanding of FDA regulations related to imported goods is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively within a team environment.
Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
