Full job description

Job Summary

Join Legacy Bench as a Digital Media Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in amplifying our brand's presence across digital platforms. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in social media management, public relations and digital marketing while supporting dynamic marketing campaigns.

You will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing online interactions, assisting with strategic communication efforts, and supporting the day-to-day running of Legacy Bench. From time to time, you will also assist with administrative and marketing tasks across our other group businesses where required.

This is an office-based role and an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in media, marketing and digital communications.

Duties

Assist in developing and executing social media strategies across multiple platforms to boost engagement and brand visibility.
Curate, schedule and publish content that aligns with campaign goals and audience interests.
Monitor social media channels for comments, messages and mentions; respond promptly to foster positive community interactions.
Support public relations initiatives by drafting press releases, media pitches and outreach materials.
Track and analyse digital media performance metrics to inform ongoing content improvements.
Collaborate with creative teams to produce multimedia assets such as graphics, videos and blog posts.
Assist with uploading and managing podcast and video content across digital platforms.
Support customer service by responding to enquiries from guests, partners and customers via email, telephone and social media.
Assist with general administrative duties, diary management and office support where required.
From time to time, assist with marketing, administrative and operational tasks across our other group businesses.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging digital tools to enhance campaign effectiveness.

Essential Requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
Good understanding of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and X.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
Friendly, professional and customer-focused attitude.
Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Skills & Experience

Previous experience or an internship in social media management, public relations, digital marketing or customer service.
Familiarity with Google Analytics or platform-specific analytics tools.
Experience using Canva, Adobe Photoshop or similar design software.
Experience with WordPress or other content management systems.
Basic knowledge of SEO and digital marketing principles.
