Job Title: QC and Packing Operative
Company: Ortumex Design & Manufacture Custom Plastic Enclosures and Products using our unique, no tooling plastic fabrication process. Our custom enclosures, coupled with our UK based Contract Manufacturing capabilities enables us to offer our customers a bespoke, flexible solution for all industries.
Ortumex Systems is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Controller and Packing operative to join our Manufacturing team in Thetford, Norfolk. This is a full-time position with ongoing work.
Department: Manufacturing
Purpose of the Role: An exciting opportunity to work as part of our manufacturing team.
Main duties:
· Responsible for carrying out general quality control duties, such as checking product standards.
· You would be required to pack the product on completion.
· You will be responsible for issuing the BOM to each job
· You will be trained in basic Plastic Fabrication as an understanding of the process is key to perform your duties.
· You will be responsible for the hardware and stock levels
· Compliant to company quality standards
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge, Skills:
· Experience isn't a necessity, however a plus.
· Understanding of technical drawings
· Positive attitude, proactive
· Having a good eye and attention to detail is critical.
