We have a rare opportunity to join our team - with responsibility for post production management in our small Trappist brewery located within Mount Saint Bernard Abbey, set on our beautiful estate in the Charnwood Forest.
We are a small, tight-knit team looking for a self-starter with an understanding of the ethos of our brewery and Abbey. There is opportunity to scale with the business and take the lead on developing our warehouse and logistics operations.
30 hours per week over 4 days + 1 Saturday per month
Mon-Thurs 8:00-16:30
1 x Saturday per month 10:30-17:30
Flexible working and additional hours may be available subject to agreement

The Warehouse and Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse and logistics operations for Mount Saint Bernard Trappist Brewery, ensuring the safe, compliant and efficient handling, storage and distribution of products.
This role is critical to maintaining high standards of accuracy, traceability and service delivery, supporting both our trade and individual customers.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities, including but not limited to: inbound deliveries, storage, picking, packing and despatch of all products in the brewery.
- Ensure high levels of stock accuracy, traceability and inventory control.
- Maintain a clean, organised and compliant warehouse environment in line with relevant Health & Safety and quality processes and standards.
- Ensure correct handling, storage and movement of products.
- Implement and continuously improve warehouse processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Logistics & Distribution
- Manage outbound logistics and coordination with couriers and logistics partners.
- Ensure deliveries meet agreed service levels, particularly where time-sensitive or customer-critical.
- Monitor logistics performance and address issues proactively.
- Oversee returns, replacements, and reverse logistics in line with agreed policies and procedures.
- Complete local deliveries or co-ordinate with logistic partners where needed.
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure warehouse and logistics activities comply with relevant Health & Safety and quality processes and standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records to support audits and regulatory requirements.
- Support quality management processes and ongoing compliance.
Team Management
- Lead, train, and develop our team of volunteers.
- Promote a culture of accuracy, accountability and safety.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Produce operational reports covering stock, delivery performance and KPIs.
- Use data and insight to identify risks, trends and improvement opportunities.
- Support operational scalability and continuous improvement initiatives.
Brewery work
- Assisting with tasks in the brewery such as bottling or packaging.
- Attending events and representing the brewery and Abbey in an appropriate manner at all times.
- Any other tasks that may arise across the business.
Experience & Background
- Experience managing both warehouse operations and logistics/distribution.
- Hands-on responsibility for day-to-day warehouse operations, including inbound goods, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
- Experience managing logistics, distribution or courier relationships.
- Experience leading and developing warehouse or operational teams.
- Solid understanding of Health & Safety, compliance and operational best practice.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, accuracy-driven warehouse environment.
- While experience within breweries is beneficial, it is more important that candidates have hands-on experience managing warehouse and logistics operations.
Must be able to lift products weighing up to 22kg regularly
Full clean UK drivers licence
UK Forklift Licence (beneficial)
