This is a hands-on creative role at the heart of a growing in-house design team, based in Nottingham (hybrid, 3 days per week on-site).
In this role, a typical day will look like:
Creating product animations and motion graphics from CAD files and creative briefs, producing polished outputs for web, email, social media, and sales campaigns.
Taking a project from brief through to final delivery — including storyboarding when required, sharing drafts, incorporating review feedback, and managing your own timelines.
Building localised, multi-language versions of video and animation assets, managing translation text, subtitles, and ensuring timely delivery of global content.
Adapting content formats and specifications for different channels and use cases, ensuring each asset is optimised for its intended platform.
Collaborating with product marketing managers, brand managers, and website managers to understand briefs and deliver content aligned to campaign and product launch priorities.
Staying current with animation tools, AI technologies, and industry developments — actively applying new approaches to improve workflows and output quality.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Minimum 4 years of experience in animation, motion design, or video production, with a strong portfolio demonstrating work across a range of formats and use cases.
Proficiency in industry-standard tools including Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator) and 3D/animation software such as Blender or equivalent.
Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently from brief through to final delivery, including managing reviews and timelines.
Experience creating animation or video content for marketing purposes — whether in-house, agency-side, or as a freelancer.
Right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship (this role does not qualify for sponsorship).
