Overview
We are seeking experienced, enthusiastic and professional Event Bar Staff to join our team at an outdoor event on: Friday 21st August, Saturday 22nd August and Sunday 23rd August ( approx hours will be 2pm - 10pm on each of the days )
This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively environment, ensuring guests enjoy their experience while maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, good organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and refreshments to guests in a courteous and timely manner
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area throughout shifts
- Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol licensing regulations
- Assist in setting up and packing down event spaces as required
- Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and safety
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during events
- Provide friendly, attentive service to enhance guest experience
Requirements
- Previous bar experience is required
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional manner
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- A personable attitude with a genuine interest in delivering outstanding customer service
- Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
Pay: £13.00 per hour
