Full job description

Foyle Campsie are looking for an Industrial cleaner to be based at their site on the outskirts of Derry. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of most progressive beef processing groups in the UK and Ireland working as part of a team to ensure that all current hygiene and cleaning standards are adhered to. If you have just left school, or simply want a change – why not consider joining us.

The successful candidate will undertake industrial cleaning operations. Working hours between 17.00 > 01.00 am during standard operations, Monday to Friday with opportunities to undertake additional hours at the weekend.

Basic starting rate is £13.71 per hour, regardless of age, increasing with additional skill bonus gained through personal development – opportunities for overtime. All new starts will be enrolled on our apprentice programme, giving everyone the opportunity to gain a recognised qualification and potentially a bonus upon completing the training programme.

No experience necessary, full training and protective equipment will be provided. Subsidised Canteen on site, Cycle to Work Scheme, Group Health & Wellbeing Programme and free Life Assurance for all staff after probation.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning of industrial facilities using hand and power tools.
Ensure all areas are free from debris and hazards to maintain a safe working environment.
Assist in the setup and breakdown of cleaning equipment and supplies.
Follow established safety protocols and procedures diligently.
Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.

Qualifications

Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Basic knowledge of construction practices
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols
No prior experience required; training will be provided
Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor
