ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:
At least 3 years previous engineering experience.
Dealing with customers by phone and face to face.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Previous experience working with stairlifts and/or other mobility products.
Working with the elderly.
Sales experience.
Cash handling.
Geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.
Full, clean driving licence.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Working efficiently with tools.
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
Sympathetic approach when dealing with the elderly.
Negotiating and influencing.
Communication.
JOB DUTIES:
9-5 Monday to Friday
Installation, servicing, repairs and removals of stairlifts and other mobility products across Northern Ireland and the border counties of the Republic of Ireland.
Sales of stairlifts and other mobility products across Northern Ireland and the border counties of the Republic of Ireland.
Fully prepare products for installation.
Fully demonstrate new installations.
Carefully measuring all details at surveys for stairlifts.
Handling inbound and outbound phone calls from the office and from customers.
Handling payments and paperwork, including cash, from customers.
Taking deliveries and general work at the store.
Communicating to all staff through phone calls and text messages during the working day.
Be available for standby work once a month.
Be flexible to work overtime when required.
OTHER INFORMATION:
Additional wages available from standby and overtime, plus commission on all sales.
Fully fitted company van with tools, parts and spares will be provided.
Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
