Job Description:

Are you an experienced CNC Machinist?

Aspex UK are recruiting for a CNC Machinist to join our team on a fixed late day shift, working Monday to Thursday.

Job Responsibilities:

As an experienced CNC Machinist, your responsibilities will include:

Set-up and operate CNC machines to manufacture bespoke timber parts as per specifications
Interpret bespoke production orders and technical drawings to determine correct machine settings
Load raw timber materials onto machines and move finished parts to designated areas
Conduct thorough inspections of timber products to ensure adherence to tight tolerances
Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance
Complete and update relevant production documentation
Maintain good housekeeping standards for efficient operations and quality output
Adhere strictly to health & safety procedures, including wearing required PPE at all times

Essential Requirements:

Proven experience working with CNC machining
Strong ability to interpret technical drawings
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on high-quality output
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Positive attitude with good communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekends if required

Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 2:00 pm – 12:30 am (4 days per week, 10.5-hour shifts).

Remuneration: Competitive rate of pay, depending on experience
