Ready to help manage an exceptional Conference & Events operation?

De Vere Cotswold Waterpark Hotel in Cirencester offers The Mallard and Kingfisher Suites are our largest spaces accommodating up to 400 and 370 guests respectively. These light-filled rooms feature impressive floor-to-ceiling windows and lakeside private decking; to set the tone for a memorable event. Or discover interiors carefully designed to complement the natural landscape in the Teal Room. An ideal setting for smaller meetings with its own private lounge and balcony overlooking the lake.

In return the role offers a salary of £30,257 per annum plus excellent benefits including time off over the Christmas period, £50 staff stays with De Vere, 31 days holiday and an extra paid day off for your birthday to name just a few.

As the Assistant Conference & Events Operations Manager, you will work as part of the management team to ensure the flawless execution of client requirements, whilst consistently upholding our esteemed De Vere brand standards.

Your skills and experience:

You have a genuine passion for and experience in the conference and events industry, prepared to put your heart and soul in to delivering memorable experiences for our guests
You have supervisory experience and enjoy helping to manage, motivate and engage the events team
Your interpersonal skills enable you to make genuine connections with clients, guests and colleagues
Most of all, you will share our values such as being graciously warm, demonstrating a genuine approach, anticipating guest needs and ensuring every detail is considered
