Full job description

Youll be part of the Amazon warehouse team that prepares and delivers orders to customers who count on us every day. These active, hands-on roles put you at the centre of how Amazon delivers—whether youre in a Fulfilment Centre, Sortation Centre, or Delivery Station, youll help make sure customers receive their orders on time.
Basic Job Requirements

Be 18 years or older
Understand and follow instructions in English
Lift up to 23kg
Push utility carts up to 27kg
Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
Work at a height of up to 12m on a mezzanine (where applicable)
Adhere to strict safety, quality, and fulfilment production standards
You may be required to handle a full range of Amazon products, including alcohol, pork, beef and other animal products

What You’ll Do

Receive and put away inventory in designated warehouse locations
Pick customer orders from shelves and pack items for shipment
Load packed boxes onto trucks and unload incoming freight from trailers
Use scanners to read bar codes on products
View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
Troubleshoot problems
Ensure product meets quality requirements
Some roles require you to learn how to operate powered industrial trucks (PIT), such as forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers. Equipment training and certification are provided free of cost.

Please Note:  Job responsibilities may be different based on the warehouse type. Amazon may place you in a role based on location and shift availability.
Schedule Options

Shift Options. Early Morning, Daytime, Evening, and Overnight hours.
Weekly Hours. Full-Time (40 hours), Reduced-Time (30-39 hours), Part-Time (20-29 hours), or Flex-Time (0-19 hours).
Schedule Flexibility. Choose from a Fixed weekly schedule or Flexible Schedules.
Overtime Opportunities. When customer demand increases, you may have the chance to work additional days.

Safety Your Workspace

Safety. Your safety is our top priority. We provide protective gear and all teams share safety tips daily. Our state-of-the-art facilities are clean, well-organised, and designed with your safety in mind.
Equipment. You’ll be working around moving equipment – PIT equipment, such as forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers, as well as mobile carts, dollies, and rolling cages.
Physical Activity. Some activities may require standing in one place for long periods, walking around, or climbing stairs.

Work Conditions

Temperature. Climate-controlled facilities maintain temperatures between 15°C and 32°C in most areas.
Noise level. It can get noisy at times. We provide hearing protection if you need it.
Dress code. Relaxed and comfortable. Closed-toe shoes required. All necessary PPE provided.
