The Role

We’re offering an exciting opportunity to step into a Process Engineering role, covering maternity leave within the team. This is maternity leave cover for up to 15 months. The role is expected to run from summer 2026 through to approximately autumn 2027, subject to confirmation of return dates.

This role focuses less on formal qualifications and more on attitude, initiative and curiosity. If you like getting stuck in, asking questions and understanding how things really work, this could be a great next step.

Full training and hands-on support will be provided before the maternity leave begins to ensure a smooth and supported transition into the role.

What you’ll be doing

Support scale‑up of new products into factory manufacture and filling
Help plan and run pilot batches and filling trials Write and maintain Methods of Manufacture (MOMs)
Support troubleshooting of process or quality issues on the factory floor
Work closely with Sales & Marketing, I&D, Quality, Process & Production, Engineering
Get involved in continuous improvement and problem‑solving

What really matters

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Interest in problem-solving or process improvement
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Organised, reliable and able to juggle multiple tasks
Works well as part of a team, with clear and confident communication

Useful (but not required)

Manufacturing, technical or laboratory experience
Exposure to GMP, quality or production environments
Science, engineering or technical background

You don’t need to tick every box — you just need the right attitude. We’ll support you the rest of the way.

An extra 15% shift allowance will be included in addition to the base salary.

Pay: Up to £32,960.00 per year
