We are seeking reliable, professional, and customer-focused Taxi Drivers to join our team operating across the beautiful South Hams district in Devon.
As a South Hams Taxi Driver, you’ll play a key role in providing safe, friendly, and efficient transport services to residents and visitors in one of Devon’s most scenic areas.
Key Requirements
- You MUST hold a valid Taxi Driver Badge (Hackney Carriage / Private Hire) issued by South Hams District Council before starting.(we will help you with this and make it as smooth as possible & for the right committed candidate we will help finicially with this).
- Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months (with appropriate endorsements).
- Minimum 2 years driving experience.
- Excellent knowledge of local roads and the South Hams area.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to outstanding customer service.
- Ability to assist passengers with luggage (some heavy lifting required).
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.

Main Duties
- Safely transport passengers to their destinations in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and roadworthy vehicle at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service and local knowledge.
- Assist passengers with luggage where needed.
- Complete accurate trip records and handle payments securely.
- Comply with all traffic laws, licensing conditions, and company standards.
