We are looking for a skilled cabinet maker to join our growing company on a full-time basis, subject to a 3-month trial period.
Here at TQB Interiors, we design and manufacture exceptionally high-quality bespoke interiors. Our team draw upon decades of experience in the industry, supplying furniture to both trade and private clients.
Our Yorkshire workshop is located just off the A1, close to amenities of the nearby market town of Wetherby.
Ideally the candidate would need to make their way to the workshop by car or other private transport, as there isn't a nearby bus route.
We encourage the personal development and improvement in all our team, working closely with external trainers where qualifications can be earned on the job. We take pride in the fact many of our team joined as apprentices, honing their skills in house with the help of our more experienced team members. We hope you will be the next experienced cabinet maker looked up to by our next apprentice.

The ideal candidate should confidently be able to:
- Take ownership of their allocated jobs, from drawing to delivery
- Communicate and work well within a small team
- Undertake their work and manage their workspace in an effective manner
- Work from technical drawings and cutting lists
- Set up and operate woodworking machinery
- Recognise and select the best available materials
- Supply and use their own tools
- Adapt to different working practices, with a can-do approach
- Use their knowledge and expertise to aid in problem solving
Working hours:
160 total over a 4-week pay period. Overtime is available at request and paid on anything above this total.
We work on a fortnightly cycle:
Week 1
Mon - Thu: 7am - 5pm (45 minute unpaid break)
Fri: 7am - 1pm (breakfast sandwich provided)
Week 2
Mon - Thu: 7am - 5pm (45 minute unpaid break)
Fri: Day off
