Full job description

We are a specialist leading builders merchant based North of Norwich.

We are looking to take on a accounts assistant working within a small accounts team.

The Role

Processing of sales and purchase invoices

Invoice Matching

Reconciliation of ledgers

Resolving Invoice Queries

Credit Control

Processing Payment Runs

Bank Reconciliation

Assisting with Month End Reporting

Knowledge of VAT to ensure correct recording

Answering Telephone

Other Ad Hoc Tasks as required by the Accountant

Skills Required

Organised and works well under pressure

Excellent Communication skills

Excellent Telephone manner

Keen to learn and take on new tasks

Ability to work on your own and as part of a team

Hours

25 - 30 hours per week - Hours can be negotiated

21 days holiday (Pro Rata for part time) plus bank holidays, private healthcare and pension (after qualifying period)

6 month probation period.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
