Housekeeping Assistant

Hassingham House Care Centre, Hingham, Norfolk

Hours available

1 x 30 hours per week (five 6-hour shifts)
2 x 24 hours per week (four 6-hour shifts)

All shifts run from 9 am to 3 pm.

About the role

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you'll keep our residents' rooms and communal spaces clean, well presented and comfortable. Your attention to detail will make a visible difference to the people who live here.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Cleaning and maintaining residents' rooms and communal areas to a consistently high standard
Laundry duties, making sure residents always have fresh, clean linen
Watching for potential fire or health and safety hazards and reporting them promptly
Working as part of the wider housekeeping and maintenance team
Following infection control and hygiene procedures

Our residents notice a clean, well-kept home, and your work will support their comfort, dignity and wellbeing.

The ability to work well as part of a team
Previous housekeeping experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
