Full job description

Right at Home Worthing & Shoreham District are a premium quality homecare provider, supporting older people and vulnerable adults in their own homes, with the goal to keep them safe and happy at home.

If you are a reliable, organised Care Coordinator with a keen eye for detail, we would love to hear from you. You will have a wealth of experience of delivering in-home care and demonstrate excellent organisational and IT skills. This role will require a great deal of flexibility and you will need to have strong communication skills and be tactful and adaptable in all situations.

What you will be doing:

Participate in the out of hours On Call (1-in5) rota to support the Care Assistants working in the community.
Cover any adhoc care visits in cases of absence and sickness
To produce consistent, fortnightly rosters and provide Care Assistant and Clients with rotas in a timely manner.
To answer the telephone promptly and professionally, dealing with any enquiries or queries
Ensure enquiries are recorded promptly and accurately
Ensure any changes to Client or Care Assistant needs and availability is communicated to all relevant parties quickly and effectively.
Ensure complaints and Care Assistant feedback and enquiries are logged promptly and accurately.
Work closely with the Recruitment Manager to highlight recruitment needs.
To record all new Care Assistants and Clients on the system as soon as they are received.
To identify and match the most suitable Care Assistants for each package.
Accurately monitor and record Care Assistant holiday, sickness and absences.
Office Hours: Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm

What you will need

Previous experience of working in care - preferred
Must have driving licence, own car and class 1 business insurance
Right to work in the UK
Use of a scheduling / HR / recording system – desirable
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook/ Teams
Experience in customer facing roles
