Full job description

Job Summary

We specialise in providing Managed IT Services and support to SME's. We combine the friendliness & flexibility of a local IT Support company with the skills and professionalism of the larger corporate IT operations.

We strive for high levels of technical excellence and customer care. We expect candidates to demonstrate strong customer service, ability to keep customers informed and to develop a personal service whilst maintaining high technical standards.

We currently have a vacancy for an experienced technician to join our growing team.

We are looking for someone who is willing to invest time and energy into making the role their own and becoming an important part of our business.

Responsibilities and Duties

-Configure and setup new hardware, PC's, Mobile Devices, Servers and Network Equipment.

·Provide remote and telephone support for client networks and applications.

-Work with the customers to ensure that they are receiving the service they expect.

·Be able to prove that you can research an issue and find a solution on your own.

-Carry out site visits for support and installation of new hardware

·Working hours from 9AM - 6PM.

Qualifications and Skills

Experience:

·Minimum of 2 years' experience or to be able to prove that you have a passion for technology with the knowledge that comes with it.

·Experience of PC hardware troubleshooting and problem-solving

·Microsoft Windows Server technologies such as Active Directory and Group policy.

·Excellent Microsoft Office 365 experience inclusive of SharePoint.

·Experience with Exchange Server and mobile email technologies.

·Experience with VoIP and telephony would be an advantage (3CX training will be included)

·Experience of complex networks would be an advantage and good understanding of networks (VPN, VLANs).

Requirements:

·Full UK driving license.

·Must be willing to invest into growing their role and the company itself.

·Ability to multitask, manage own workload and react quickly to urgent issues.

·Experience with helpdesk ticketing and some form of RMM (Kaseya, Autotask, SolarWinds, Labtech).

·Strong organisational, communication and customer service skills.

·Strong attention to details and a willingness to own a problem.

·Ability to quickly learn new applications and technologies. A genuine interest in emerging technologies is required.
