The Feathers is looking for a confident, energetic and reliable person to join our weekend team in a combined Glass Collector / Venue Photographer role.
This is a varied position suited to someone who enjoys working in a busy nightlife environment, is comfortable speaking to customers and can help us keep the venue looking its best while capturing great content from our busiest nights.
The Role
Your shift will be split between supporting the bar team on the floor and taking photographs and short-form content that showcase the atmosphere at The Feathers.
Glass Collecting & Floor Duties
Responsibilities will include:
- Collecting glasses quickly and safely throughout the venue.
- Returning glassware to the correct bar and washing areas.
- Keeping tables clear, clean and ready for customers.
- Regularly checking the venue for empty glasses, bottles and rubbish.
- Helping maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the trading area.
- Keeping walkways, entrances and exits clear.
- Supporting the bar team during busy periods.
- Reporting spills, broken glass or other hazards immediately.
- Helping ensure the venue remains clean, welcoming and presentable throughout the night.
- Assisting with end-of-night clearing and cleaning duties when required.
Photography & Social Content
You will also help capture the atmosphere of the venue by:
- Taking high-quality photographs of customers, groups and events.
- Capturing DJs, entertainment, promotions and key moments throughout the night.
- Taking natural crowd and atmosphere shots that represent the venue positively.
- Approaching customers in a friendly and professional manner when taking photographs.
- Capturing suitable short-form photo/video content for our social media channels.
- Ensuring content is appropriate and represents The Feathers professionally.
- Working with management to capture any specific events, promotions or drinks that need featuring.
- Providing management with the agreed content following each shift.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who is:

- Able to remain professional when dealing with customers who have been drinking.
- Comfortable working at pace during busy periods.
- A good team player with a positive attitude.
Previous photography, social media, hospitality or nightlife experience would be an advantage, but the right attitude and reliability are equally important.
Working Hours
This role is specifically for Friday and Saturday nights.
Applicants must be available to work both Friday and Saturday evenings/nights, including late finishes during our busiest trading periods.
Additional shifts may occasionally be available, but the main requirement of the role is reliable availability every Friday and Saturday night.
