About Us
We are a growing, family-run business looking for a motivated and commercially minded individual to become a key member of our small team. Working directly with the Managing Director, you will play an important role in driving sales, developing customer relationships, and managing our online product catalogue.
This is a varied, hands-on position where no two days are the same. We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, and helping a business grow.
The Role
You will be responsible for supporting and growing the commercial side of the business by:
- Answering incoming sales calls and responding to customer email enquiries.
- Preparing quotations and following them up to secure orders.
- Building strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Proactively contacting dormant and existing customers to generate repeat business and introduce additional product ranges.
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Maintaining and updating our e-commerce website, including adding new products, writing product descriptions, uploading images, and creating product cross-references.
- Ensuring pricing and product information are accurate and up to date.
- Working closely with the Managing Director to identify opportunities to increase sales and improve customer service.
- Assisting with marketing initiatives and product launches where required.
- Helping improve internal processes as the business continues to grow.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in sales, internal sales, account management, or business development.
- Is confident speaking with customers on the phone and by email.
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Is commercially aware and enjoys finding opportunities to increase sales.
- Is comfortable working independently and taking responsibility.
- Has good IT skills and can quickly learn new systems.
- Ideally has experience updating e-commerce websites or product databases (training can be provided).
- Has experience in the automotive industry.
