Company Overview

Watershed Packaging Ltd has been a leading supplier of flexible printed packaging for over 30 years. With a commitment to quality, service, and innovation, we serve multinational companies from our state-of-the-art facilities across the region.

Summary

We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join the team at Watershed to maximise the print production process in accordance with the manufacture of labels, lids, shrink sleeves and film.

Key Responsibilities

To manufacture quality print and maximise press uptime.
Liaise with Print Supervisors and pre-press in maximising production efficiencies.
Highlight issues likely to affect production schedules.
Produce accurate machine statistics and ensure all documentation is completed in accordance with company policy.
Ensure the manufacturing environment is safe and all BRC/IOP and HACCP procedures are adhered to.
Ensure health and safety policies are adhered to.
Implement machine maintenance and highlight to management maintenance issues.
Implement best practice procedures.
Provide adequate cover when opposite partners are absent or on holiday.
Ensure the press and surrounding areas are kept clean at the end of each shift and a ‘clean as you go’ policy is maintained.
Share best practice and lean ideas with fellow managers.
Encourage teamwork ethics and ideas.
Work overtime to maximise production efficiency.
Ensure customer requirements are met.
Set a good example in terms of dress, punctuality and attendance.
Ensure all areas are clean and tidy at all times.
Maintain customer and company confidentiality.
Ensure estimated times and production figures are adhered to and where possible challenged.

Schedule

10 hour shift

Because of the changing nature of our business your job description will inevitably change. You will, from time to time, be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature when required that fall within your capabilities as directed by management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £25,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
