Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our vibrant dining establishment with passion and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient food production, and a positive team environment. Your leadership will drive the restaurant’s success by managing staff, controlling costs, maintaining food safety standards, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Responsibilities

Lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow during all shifts while maintaining high standards of quality and hospitality.
Supervise and train staff across all departments, including front-of-house serving teams and kitchen personnel, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Manage inventory control processes to minimize waste and optimize food and beverage stock levels using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards.
Handle cash management duties including cash handling, register reconciliation, and shift reporting to ensure accuracy and accountability.
Implement staff training programs focused on customer service, food safety, kitchen management, and operational procedures to enhance team performance.
Monitor budget adherence, control costs, and develop strategies for revenue growth while maintaining a positive guest experience.
Conduct interviews and participate in hiring decisions to build a skilled team aligned with the restaurant’s standards.
Ensure compliance with health regulations, safety standards, and sanitation practices across all areas of the restaurant.
Lead efforts in catering, banquet events, bar operations, coffee service, or hotel-related dining experiences as needed to diversify offerings.

Qualifications

Proven management experience within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments; fine dining or hotel experience is highly desirable.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary processes, and food industry best practices.
Demonstrated expertise in POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking.
Strong background in inventory control, budgeting, food safety protocols (including HACCP), and food handling procedures.
Experience supervising staff through training & development initiatives; excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams.
Skilled in customer service excellence with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences.
Ability to manage shift operations effectively while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Familiarity with catering services, banquet operations, bar management, coffee & barista experience is a plus.
Exceptional communication skills with experience in interviewing and staffing decisions within the hospitality industry.
