Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate extrusion machinery according to specifications and safety standards.
- Monitor machine operation, adjusting parameters as necessary to ensure optimal output quality.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on extrusion equipment,
- Troubleshoot issues related to materials handling, tooling, or machine performance promptly to minimise downtime.
- Use hand tools
- Handle materials efficiently, ensuring proper storage and movement within the warehouse environment.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently during all operations.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge related to tooling, materials handling, and machinery operation.
- Competence in basic maths for measurements and calculations essential for quality control.
- Experience working with hand tools and industrial equipment within a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and adherence to health standards.
- Prior warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential; a proactive attitude towards learning is preferred.
