Overview
We are seeking a professional and personable Telephonist to join our team. This role involves managing incoming calls, providing excellent customer service, and supporting administrative functions within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be organised, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Fluency in both English and Spanish is highly desirable, along with the ability to demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and data entry skills. Duties
- Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive caller experience
- Manage multiple lines efficiently while maintaining professionalism and courtesy
- Perform accurate data entry of caller information into organisational databases
- Assist callers with enquiries, providing relevant information or directing calls to appropriate departments
- Engage in upselling opportunities where appropriate to promote services or products
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments or follow-up calls
- Maintain organised records of call interactions for future reference
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and maintain high standards of phone etiquette at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in a customer service or telephony role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Proficiency in data entry with attention to detail
- Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish are highly desirable, with strong verbal communication skills in both languages
- Experience with analysis skills to assess caller needs and provide suitable solutions or recommendations
- Knowledge of upselling techniques and effective communication strategies to maximise customer engagement
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining professionalism and composure during busy periods
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
