About the Department:
Our Science department is energetic and forward thinking. We thrive to inspire our students but find so often that they end up inspiring us!! We have a wealth of knowledge in the department and an array of 12 specialist teachers who are always willing to share their knowledge and support each other. At the same time we have 3 technicians who are specialists in their own field and are always willing to support in class with practicals and demonstrations. We are proud of our team, our relationships with each other and our students.

This is a permanent Outwood contract with, at least, the Autumn term 2026 being at Outwood Academy Adwick (as maternity leave). For January 2027, we will work with the appointee to fix a permanent base; at either Adwick or a neighbouring Outwood school.
