About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant (HCA) to support people in their own home during day and/or night. You’ll help enhance their quality of life and promote their independence, while ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.
You’ll be part of a close-knit care team who share the same commitment to delivering exceptional person-centred care.
Responsibilities
- Support the clients with mobility both in bed and around their homes
- Provide personal care and assistance as outlined in thier care plan
- Communicate effectively and sensitively with the clients their family
- Record and report any changes in condition or wellbeing promptly
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date care records in line with data protection standards
- Promote emotional wellbeing and companionship
- Follow all health, safety, and infection control procedures
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality care
Requirements
- Previous experience in domiciliary or healthcare settings is preferred but not essential – full training is provided
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to follow and update care plans accurately
- IT skills beneficial for logging care notes
- A caring, compassionate, and professional attitude
- Right to work in the UK
- Must provide suitable references
- Enhanced DBS check required prior to employment. People on the update service will be required to attach their original DBS certificate. If not on the update service then the company will carry the check out and its cost will be deducted from the first wage.

- £13.5 to 15.0 per hour depending on experience
