Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 48 hours per week. Due to the nature of the role and nationwide project work, flexibility to work additional hours, stay away from home and travel across the UK is required.

Working alongside experienced Lead Drillers, you'll receive hands-on training and support while working on a variety of projects across the UK. This is a physically active, outdoor role that offers variety, travel and the opportunity to learn specialist skills in a growing industry. For the right individual, there is a clear pathway to progress into a Lead Driller position.

The successful candidate will be provided with a company van, full PPE, workwear and all the equipment required to carry out their role safely and effectively.
The Role:

Supporting the Lead Driller with day-to-day drilling operations.

Assisting with the set-up, operation and dismantling of drilling equipment.

Carrying out manual handling activities and basic equipment maintenance.

Collecting, recording and labelling soil, rock and water samples.

Maintaining a safe, tidy and organised working environment.

Following Health & Safety procedures, RAMS and safe systems of work.

Working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Travelling and staying away from home as required to support projects across the UK.

Supporting the delivery of high-quality drilling services for customers and projects.

Working closely with colleagues to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
What You'll Need:

Good communication skills and a reliable approach to work.

A full UK driving licence is essential due to the travel requirements of the role.

Previous drilling experience within water well, geothermal, construction, utilities or related industries would be advantageous, but is not essential. We welcome applications from candidates with transferable skills, a strong work ethic and a positive attitude who are looking to build a long-term career, as full training will be provided for the right individual.

NPORS or CPCS Telehandler qualification would be desirable but is not essential.
