Dwellings of Sherborne – Kitchen and Bathroom Studio - require an experienced Kitchen and Bathroom Sales Designer to join their Team in Sherborne - Dorset.
Dwellings of Sherborne – design, supply and install luxury bathrooms and high quality kitchens, interior projects and renovations, You will be working directly with customers to help them plan, design, choose, and purchase their kitchen or bathroom. The role is customer-facing and suits someone who enjoys helping people make confident decisions.
You will be part of a small, friendly team and will work towards clear individual targets, supported by a straightforward, uncapped commission structure.
The role: Senior Kitchen Sales Design Consultant
Meeting clients in the showroom and offering the very highest levels of customer service.
Using CAD software to design luxury kitchens and presenting back to the customer. Preferably Winner Design or Virtual Worlds.
Understanding customer requirements, budgets and offering solutions from a wide range of high-end products.
Handling all aspects of the design and planning, including on-site surveys.
Being the face of the company, always representing the showroom and the brand.
Candidate Requirements:
At least three years’ experience in designing and selling mid/high end kitchens and bathrooms.
Knowledge of the luxury kitchen and bathroom market and the competition.
Proven track record in kitchen design and able to provide examples of own design work.
Winner Designs/ Virtual Worlds/Cyncly software experience (advantageous).
High attention to detail, professional with an excellent sales acumen.
Full UK driving licence.
Resposibilities
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial greeting and design consultation to final delivery.
- Conduct professional meetings with retail and trade clients in the showroom, on-site, or in their homes.
- Prepare and manage accurate quotations, designs and client presentations, ensuring market-leading service and efficient turnaround times.
- Maximize branch profitability through linked selling and expert product guidance.
- Coordinate with the wider team to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Requirements / Skills:
- Sector Experience: Proven background in kitchen and bathroom or interior showroom sales and design.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills with a knack for building rapport.
- Technical Aptitude: Strong IT skills; experience with design/CAD software is highly advantageous.
- Organization: Ability to prioritize a busy workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Licensing: Must hold a full driving license for site visits and home consultations.

Pay and commission:
- £29,500 - 32,000 basic salary (full time)
- Uncapped commission based on monthly sales performance
- Realistic OTE: £32,000 to £52,000 for strong performers
Commission increases as monthly sales increase and is paid in line with the company sales policy.
