The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Project Analyst to join our Finance Improvement Project Team on a 12-month fixed term contract.
In this role, you’ll work closely with colleagues across ZIL and build strong relationships with stakeholders across the wider Zurich Group. You’ll play a key part in improving finance processes, helping to simplify, automate, and strengthen the way we work.

What you’ll do:
- Review existing manual finance processes to understand current ways of working and identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve efficiency.
- Contribute to the review and assessment of reconciliation remediation actions.
- Work collaboratively with finance and non-finance teams to deliver process improvements.
- Assist Workstream Leads and Project Managers with testing, implementation, and training activities.
- Build strong relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience working in a finance team, in roles such as business analyst or accountant.
- A proactive, self-starting mindset with the confidence to challenge the status quo.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in process improvement and control design within finance (e.g. strengthening controls, standardising processes, supporting automation).
- Strong analytical skills and a good understanding of finance processes and systems.
- Proven experience completing financial reconciliations.
- Experience in a change-focused environment would be beneficial.
- Insurance industry knowledge would be an advantage.
