This temporary administration post exists to help with a manual migration of electronic documents associated with plant maintenance instructions from Achiever to Controlled Management System (CMS) in accordance with specified instructions. This work is essential to enable NRS Dounreay to transition from Mainsaver to an Electronic Asset Management System (EAMS) and is a fixed term contract to 31 March 2028.
What you will be doing
You will play a vital role in ensuring information, systems and documentation are managed securely, accurately and efficiently to support departmental, facility and project delivery. Acting as a trusted point of support, you will combine strong system administration, document control, and general administrative expertise, helping teams operate smoothly while maintaining compliance with company procedures and authorisation requirements.
- Provide secure system and data administration, supporting end users, maintaining electronic databases and contributing to the testing and improvement of information storage, tracking and reporting systems
- Coordinate, control and verify documentation to support departmental, facility and project requirements, including document distribution, archiving, data input and compliance with standard processes
- Deliver comprehensive administrative support, including meeting coordination and minute‑taking, purchasing, records management, and day‑to‑day office administration, while fulfilling the responsibilities of relevant post authorisations

Terms and Conditions
Basic Annual Income – Starting salary of £26,807 to a maximum of £31,532 depending on experience.
Working Hours – 37.9 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with every third Friday as a non-working day.
Annual Holiday Entitlement – 25 days annual leave, 8 public holidays, 2.5 privilege holidays pro rata
Contract Duration – Fixed term to 31 March 2028
Location – Hybrid/On Site
Security Clearance – The successful candidate will be required to undergo security clearance checks.
