Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heating Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air source heat pump systems across various commercial and residential properties. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, practical skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair a wide range of heating systems, mainly including air source heat pumps, radiators, and underfloor heating.
- Conduct routine maintenance and servicing to ensure optimal system performance and safety compliance.
- Diagnose faults accurately and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Utilise hand tools, power tools and plumbing components to complete tasks efficiently.
- Perform heavy lifting of equipment and materials safely during installation or repairs.
- Read technical drawings and mechanical diagrams to guide installation processes.
- Maintain detailed records of work completed, testing procedures, evidences and QA sign off of each job.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, including the safe handling of tools and materials.
Skills
- Proven experience with installation, maintenance and servicing of air source heat pumps and underfloor heating.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised mechanical equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to air source heating systems and associated components.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and technical documentation interpretation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

Pay: £28,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
