Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organised environment across our premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services to contribute to a professional setting. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Ad hoc clraning domestic /commercial cleaning jobs
Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting floors, surfaces, and fixtures
Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas in accordance with health and safety standards
Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working order and report any issues promptly
Follow health and safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or hazards
Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as required

Qualifications

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good physical stamina and mobility to perform cleaning duties efficiently
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
