This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in driving sales and supporting projects from enquiry to delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to new business enquiries, providing quotes & winning orders.
- Sharing product knowledge and samples to support client decisions.
- Overseeing orders from start to finish, liaising with suppliers, designers, and our production team.
- Building and maintaining strong ongoing relationships with clients.
- Identifying new business opportunities within a competitive sector.

The candidates we’re looking for will be able to demonstrate they are/have:
- Highly articulate with excellent communication skills, especially in writing.
- A desire to succeed and a hunger to ‘win’ the sale.
- Undaunted by engaging with people on the phone.
- A confident & polite manner and an ability to build rapport with professional customers.
- Focused, with superb attention to detail, even during times of high workload/pressure.
- Extremely organized, able to follow procedures and multi-task.
- Self-motivated, work without constant supervision and to take the initiative.
- A positive and proactive attitude; remain level-headed under pressure and a good level of common sense.
- Confident with numbers (using a calculator as appropriate).
- Good IT skills, must be confident using various systems (email, CRM, online services) and switching between them [familiarity with Mac computers an advantage]
Sales training and/or account management experience will be an advantage, however, we will consider exceptional candidates without this if they meet all of the criteria and have the right attitude. The ability to learn a lot in a short space of time will be required.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 9 am - 5.30pm (5.15pm finish on Friday).
Salary: £25,500 starting salary

Location: Folkestone. This is an fully office based role due to the daily liaison that is required with our design and production teams and the need to access stock and samples.
