What You’ll Do
You’ll be part of a team supporting residents to:
- Develop independent living skills
- Maintain and improve mental wellbeing
- Access community activities like the gym, cinema, walking groups, or volunteering
- Manage everyday tasks such as appointments, finances and social connections
- Work towards personal goals and future independence
You’ll also:
- Build trusting relationships with residents
- Complete daily reports and other documentation which reflect peoples care and support needs
- Partnership working - Liaise with family, professionals like social workers, GPs, and mental health teams
- Key-work and help people on their personal goals
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in care or mental health support
- Creativity and solution focused
- A positive, proactive and caring attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Emotional resilience and a sense of humour
- Ability to manage responsibilities and think on your own feet
Desirable but not essential:
- Full driving licence and access to a car with business insurance
- Experience working within Health And Social Care
- Knowledge of autism, learning disabilities, or trauma-informed care

This role is based at our residential home in Dover. We are a 2-minute walk from the main bus depot and a 10-minute walk from Dover train station.
