Job Overview

TRA Pallets based in Paddock Wood are looking for a Class 2 driver to join our team! We work in partnership with a large UK Pallet Network for deliveries and collections across Kent and East Sussex. We expect our drivers to be punctual, professional, a good communicator and have a can do mentality with a dedicated approach to ensuring we meet our service targets and expectations each day. We run a fleet of 5 vehicles ( 3 x 26 tonne, 1 x 18 tonne and 1 x 7.5 Tonne) so if you are an experienced HGV driver and are looking for full time permanent work then contact us today for an immediate start.

Responsibilities

Delivery of palletised good across Kent and Sussex.
Load and unload freight securely, ensuring that all items are properly secured for transport.
Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies.
Communicate effectively with the operations team, customers and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise whilst loading or delivering.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations while on the road and at delivery sites.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driving licence (CPC) with a clean driving record.
Proven experience as a HGV delivery driver.
Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.
Ability to perform physical tasks associated with warehousing and loading/unloading vehicles.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or but more importantly as part of a team.
Good communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £170.00 per day
