We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Cedarmount Vets on a part-time fixed-term basis for 6 months.
Cedarmount Veterinary Clinic is a busy veterinary clinic in Bangor, Co Down, and is part of Independent Vetcare. We are a dedicated team of enthusiastic people who work together to provide the best possible care for our pets and clients.
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.
You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.
Working Pattern
- Shifts are usually opening until afternoon or afternoon until closing, depending on contracted hours
Key Responsibilities
- Answering telephone calls
- Providing one-to-one support to clients
- Delivering a warm, friendly service while showing sensitivity to patient illness
- Taking payments, cash handling and end-of-day banking
