Monday to Friday 11.30am to 3.30pm
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Waitress/Waiter Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing and serving a variety of beverages and food items, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic hospitality environment, providing memorable experiences for our guests. Previous barista experience and knowledge of food safety are highly valued, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Prepare and serve a range of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, adhering to quality standards
- Serve food items promptly and accurately, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the service area, including counters and tables
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system and process payments efficiently
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
- Assist in restocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels throughout shifts
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing enquiries promptly and courteously
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operation of the establishment
Experience
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of food safety procedures is desirable
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is advantageous
- Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods
- Ability to work well as part of a team with a positive attitude
