Full job description

DKM Sheet Metal are a progressive sheet metal company and we have an established sub-contract engineering company since 1979.

The candidate must be hardworking, conscientious and have a good attitude in the workplace. For the appropriate individual there will opportunities to train and advance their career.

The job job will be a Mon-Fri Day shift.

Mon- Thurs - 07:30-16:15

Fri 07:30-13:30

*Shift will include 1 x 15 minute break and 1 x 30 minute lunch.*

*Overtime will be available and an element of this has been included within the rate*

Responsibilities and Duties

Setting and operating the machine ensuring an efficient and safe operation of the CNC Punch Press
Must be able to work to engineered drawings
Planned preventive Maintenance of CNC Punch Press including the sharpening of Punch Press tooling
Processing of punched part kits for the next process to improve output while inspecting your own work for quality (including first off sign offs)

Requirements

Must possess experience and capability in operating and setting punch press machines
Working on Amada or Trumpf controlled systems would be beneficial
Forklift license is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to £37,500.00 per year
