Part-Time Yard Assistant – Ideal for Retired Mechanic / Car Enthusiast

Kidderminster

£15 per hour

⏱ Up to 20 hours per week – flexible across the week

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on individual — ideally a retired mechanic or experienced car enthusiast — to help maintain and organise a busy car sales yard.

This role would suit someone who still enjoys being around cars but wants flexible, low-pressure part-time work without the demands of a full-time workshop role.

What You’ll Be Doing

Keeping the yard tidy, organised, and presentable

Arranging vehicles into clean, uniform displays

Maintaining vehicle readiness:

Keeping batteries charged

Checking and inflating tyres

General visual checks and light upkeep

Carrying out small practical jobs across the vehicles

Managing and organising vehicle keys

Regularly checking stock condition across the site

What We’re Looking For

Background as a mechanic OR strong hands-on experience with cars

Someone who takes pride in keeping things neat and in order

Self-motivated and happy working independently

Reliable and consistent

Local to Kidderminster (important due to flexible visits)
