Full job description

Are you an organised, people-focused administrator looking for a rewarding role where your work genuinely makes a difference? Rivervale Country Private Care Home is looking for a friendly and efficient Administrative Assistant to join our team, providing vital support to our General Manager. It's a great opportunity to bring your administrative skills to a warm, welcoming care environment at the heart of the local community.

What You'll Be Doing;

Providing day-to-day administrative support to the General Manager, including correspondence, filing and reception duties.
Being the friendly first point of contact for residents, families and visitors.
Maintaining accurate records in line with confidentiality and data protection requirements.
Assisting with invoices, stock ordering and general office administration.

What We're Looking For;

Essential

At least 2 years' administrative experience
Strong IT skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PAYE & Accounts Packages)
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A caring, professional and flexible approach

Desirable

Previous experience in a healthcare or care home setting
Awareness of RQIA standards and regulatory requirements for care staff (NMC and NISCC)
A Business Administration qualification

Hours & Location

Full-time 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We may consider part-time and job-share application. Based at Rivervale Country Private Care Home, 56a Dunnamore Road, Cookstown, BT80 9NT.
