Specialist Directional Drilling & Civil Engineering company
We are currently seeking applications for a site engineer or site supervisor for Irish Water Projects. A graduate civil engineer with 2+ years experience or an experienced supervisor would be suitable. Salary Dependant on Experience.
Ø Long-term steady work on Irish Water contracts in Donegal/Sligo/Leitrim/Monaghan/Cavan/Meath.
Ø Must have experience on Irish Water / NI Water projects. The role will suit a working foreman or site supervisor who can plan, organise and lead a small crew.
Ø Excellent rates of pay. PAYE or Self-employed options available.
Ø Early finish on the last Friday of the month.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
Ø Experience installing watermains/laying new sewers.
Ø Lead and manage a small crew 3-4 men.
Ø Electrofusion welding of PE pipe and installation of water fittings, backfilling and reinstatement.
Ø Maintain the highest levels of health and safety on site and use appropriate safety equipment.
Essential Criteria:
Ø Full driving license
Ø Valid CSR Card / Safe Pass. SLG, LUGS, First Aid,
Ø Experience with Polyethylene Electrofusion Welding and laying sewer pipes.
Desirable Criteria:
Ø Experience of plant operation and relevant tickets
Ø Purple Book Training, Additional H+S qualification.
